Printing on TEC b-572 pauses

DEFAULT SPEED IS 9600 bauds, 8 data bits , 1 stop bit no parity.
Un fortunateley the best spped avaible is 19200 bds.
The pausing is due to too much data transfered trough the serial port.
To sole this, increse tehe baudrate and use internal fonts.

Change baud rate on okifax 5050

The baud rate is automatically set by the machine when it connects to the remote machine. The machines start at the highest speed and drop down until both machines can send/receive without any errors then they send the pages. You can not manually set the speed.

3. When you reset the router in your console window you will see characters that you cannot read. You have to stop the session and set your baud rate to 115200. This will let you increase the speed that you use to transfer the file.
4. At the rommon prompt enter xmodem -c {filename}
5. When prompted, enter y to continue
6. From your hyperterminal prompt, click on transfter then send file
7. Select the IOS image then change the protocol to xmodem via the dropdown box then click send.
8. After the IOS has been downloaded, change the boot order by using the confreg 0x2102 command.

Need to lower baud rate on my Brother 4100

The baud rate or communication speed of the Brother 4100 Fax is not selectible by the user. It is factory set to begin at 14.4 (the highest speed) and fall back in increments until reliable communication is established.

I need to change a baud rate to9600 for telephone line. can you direct me please.

How to change the baud rate....

Press Menu/Set, 2, 0, 1.
Press ▲ or ▼ to select Basic or
Normal (or High*).
Press Menu/Set.
Press Stop/Exit.
* High is available for FAX-2910, FAX-2920
and MFC-7225 only.
Note
Basic reduces the modem speed to 9600
bps. Unless interference is a recurring
problem on your phone line, you may
prefer to use it only when needed.
Normal sets the modem speed at
14400 bps.
High sets the modem speed at
33600 bps..

My system tell me that my serial port is running at 9600 bad. My motherboard is new enough to be running at top speed. What is the problem and is there anything I can do to fix this?

The mother board can be new enough to run at 19200 Baud rate or even more but most of the devices run at a baud rate of 9600. If the baud rate of the motherboard is increased then the communication between the device and the motherboard can become an issue.

If you still want to change the baud rate then the option will be available with the software you get with the device you are using with the serial port.

If I can know the device attached to the serial port then I can help you further.

Kindly Comment.

I cann't connect to my switch

The primary connection method for those switches would be serial connection. In the box there should have been a DB9 serial to RJ45 cable. Hyperterminal default settings would allow you to connect.

How to configure the Zebra S500 using a USB to Parallel adapter?

The Zebra Stripe S500 has a RS-232 SERIAL interface using a DB-25 connector . You'll need a USB to SERIAL converter, not parallel. Be sure that the baud rate and data/stop bits are set the same on the printer and interface converter. Generally speaking, use the fastest setting possible (19200 baud) unless you encounter problems.

But to answer your question about converting from 9,600 baud to  19,200 baud, I'm not sure I understand. The device should support those data rates. It all depends on what you need to do.
