I want to put a password on my wireless connection and the manual tells me to open my Internet browser and type "192.168.1.2" as the URL. But when i do it the Web configurator doesn't show, instead google shows some search results. Why?

- Yes i am typing it to the address bar in Internet Explorer
-   I´m having the same problem. I can connect to the internet and all that, but i want to set a password on my connection. We got about 4 computers connected to the wireless internet. Ive tried to reset the connect to factory settings a few times, but I still cant get connected to http://192.168.1.2 When i run CMD and ipconfig /all I get IP-adress to be 93.160.88.246 and default gateway to be 93.160.88.1.
I´ve tried to make this work for days. Am I missing some sort of special software to access or?
Are you using IE? Are you entering this address in the address bar? Try http://192.168.2.1

- Try creating a new shortcut: Right-click the Desktop (Or any convenient location).Select New Shortcut. Enter http://192.168.1.2 Give the Shortcut a name (Router) In IE, you can change the address bar search behavior: Open Tools/Internet Options/Advanced Look for "Search from the address bar." I use "Just go to the most likely site", or you can try "Do not search from the address bar". Frankly, I've never changed these settings before, but this should help if you have some other setting selected.

I have a problem with my Colubris installation: As long as the accesspoints are on the same subnet, everything works fine. When I put an accesspoint on a different subnet, the wireless users (connection via an employers SSID eg. only authentication) get an IP-address and all, but cannot access anything on their LAN. Any ideas? :)

I have a ZyXEL ZyAIR B-1000 V2 wireless access point that I got some years back. We have bought new computers so we now have 3 wireless clients. Two online clients? work fine. When we turn on the third and try to access the Internet all Internet connections on all the PC?s fails and we have to reboot the ZyAIR before we can reconnect. Our Router connected to an ADSL connection should not have any problems handling that amount of clients. Is this a known error that can be corrected?
