My 1993 model dometix RM 2611 fridge won't turn on no light's and doesn't make a sound.. wit could it be

Hi, This sounds like either a power supply issue or the ''fridge is completely knackered. Check that the power supply to the 'fridge is working. Check for an internal fuse in the 'fridge, if there's one there, is it working?

Fisher & paykel fridge e521t no power to fridge, not any power coming to fridge

Did you try an other electrical outlet? Can you test the outlet has any voltage?
does the fridge have an on / off switch? I don't think so, so if nothing works also check the cable and the plug going in the outlet.

Not running. had power outage. perhaps power surge while crew was reaparing downed power lines. Is there circuit breaker/reset on unit. I have verified 100V at wall outlet.

well there is a fuse located near the place the power cord attaches to the refrigerator you need to find it.Just check there is a sticker at the back of the fridge with the wiring diagram the rating of the fridge will be written on it as it purely depends on the size of fridge. For a average fridge it is 5 ampere fuse

Dometic refrigerator RM 2652 is not working

The fridge needs a 12 volt DC source to operate properly, which should be connected at the back of the fridge, outside behind cover. Check all fuses in your fuse panel as well. The upper controls are powered by 12 volt DC system, and that's what tells the fridge what to do.. (battery or converter)

Cant find the fuse for the refrig. no power

Check connection for 12 volts, at back of fridge behind vent cover .(outside) Make sure 12 volts getting to the lugs where they join. If you have 12 volts to there, unplug fridge at receptacle usually on left side by back of fridge, just to be safe. Remove cover on circuit board and look for a blown (glass type fuse in there.)

Hi Richard,
The most likely cause of your problem is a loose wire in the plug connecting your fridge to the power socket - check the terminal screws that secure the wires into the plug, and of course check or replace the fuse with a known "good" one.

Also plug some other appliance in the socket that your fridge is normally connected to, just to make sure there is power at the socket itself.

I have never known fridges to have internal fuses, but there's always a first time :-)

Hope this helps - if not come back with a comment so I can try to help you further.

Cheers, D.
