during the rinse the machine uses a higher level of water, therefore check the door seal for holes,if the water is leaking from the soap drawer in the spin then this suggests that you may have a blockage in the outlet hose or in the sump filter, to check the filter remove the sump hose, the filter is hidden in the hose. hold the start button for 5 seconds this should clear previous program. then select drain on your dial. press start as normal and machine will drain. if this does not work the only other remedy is with help, making sure the end of the drain hose is higher than drum at all times take machine outside, lean it back at 45 degrees agaist a wall with a towel or similar covering lid to stop scratching . working from underneath loosen the large jubillee clip that connects the drum to pump drain hose to the drum. As the drum is overfull there is no recepticle large enough to fit under so just let water just flow away. Dry every thing off. make sure you don't loose ping pong ball in filter and make sure filter is clear. refitting is reverse of removal

hi firstly turn down your cold water pressure as this somtimes gives the impression that the water is coming from the drum, then check that the rinse hold button is not activated if so press in the button then the timer should continue on its own, hope this helps if so please rate thank you.

I had the same problem (E20) for a long time and tried everything in the manual before I called AEG to have someone stop by and fix it.
He took the whole top off as well as the back and pulled out all this fuzz that was stopped somewhere. He said it normally comes from using too much detergant and also from not letting the machine run empty every now and then....but it doesn't say to do this in the manual. And anyway, I can't imagine that using too much wash powder made 1/2 kg of fluff.
I still have a guarantee on the machine, but they say that because it is my fault that I got E20 I have to pay for the repairment myself.
I actually think that they build the machine purposly in this way to keep up the money flow. I have an attorney on the case now.
