Further to my earlier request I have viewed device manager and have found the following; 1.Network adaptors;Realtek RTL8101 family PCI-E fast Ethernet NIC (ndis6.0) Has a yellow ? marker beside it. 2Network controller and SM bus controller also have the same yellow marker. ALL THE OTHER ITEMS APPEAR TO BE WORKING CORRECTLY. Thanks Ian

How do I enable my wireless connection on my Medion Akoya MD 96640?

Assuming the card is correctly installed, either touch the wireless icon to the right of tthe power button (it will turn red and a confirmatory dialogue pops up) OR press and hold the Fn key and press F7. The same dialogue pops up.

If this fails, check the card appears in device manager and shows 'this device is working properly'. (Control panel/device manager). If not, uninstal it and reboot.

I assume you are familiar with connection procedures to your router.

My realtek rtl8101 ethernet card does not start show an error code:10 on the device manager

Is this a network adapter that's internal to the motherboard? If so, you need to download and install the drivers from the board manufacturer.

Hold the Windows key and press R, then type devmgmt.msc

Please respond to all the following steps.
  1. Under Network adapters, please tell me all the devices listed.
  2. Are there any devices under Network adapters that have a red x displayed?
  3. Also, are there any devices anywhere in the Device Manager display with yellow ? or ! displayed?

If so you have to download all the drivers and install them.

I have a mini laptop e1212 medion akoya product with a webcam but i cannot use it ..may be it is installation problem i do not know.i will be very greatful if this problem can be solved.

It will be good to have the PC reset to an earlier set restore date. Now the OS will be reset and if there are errors it will be corrected.
Also please check to see if the drivers are OK in the device manager . If this wont solve you will need to reinstall the OS and the drivers of the PC.

My medion akoya is not detecting any wireless networks and I can only connect to the internet via my ethernet cable.

In control panel, is wirelesss network adaptor turned on?
If NO wireless networks are detected and you know you should see some. Remove the wireless device from the system (in device manager) and restart the computer

Realtek rtl8101 wireless adaptor not recognized

"It also says under Network Connections that the Realtek card is my Local Area Connection and it has a network cable unplugged. " that's for your wired connection so don't worry about it...

Here's a couple of things to check, make sure your wireless switch is in the on position on your laptop...go to "My Networks" and click "new connection" and follow wizard for home and small office wireless>>have you had to input your WAP Key yet? it will not connect unless WAP key is input..let me know and we'll take it from there...good luck

TV Tuner express card 54 DVB-T Medion

Hi,
you need to install/re-install the drivers for the expresscard, should be downloadable from medion. Also check in control-panel that the device is there. If you look in My Computer/control Panel/System/Device Manager and the device is listed, with a yellow exclamation mark. try removing/uninstalling. or physically remove from the computer, re-install and go through the new hardware wizard to set it up.
