Question about Computers & Internet
The power supply at the plug in lead is a constant 19.5 volts dc so problem is on the laptop
Have you checked your Cord, Verify that the cord is good by using a computer like your, make sure the power specs are the same. Or get a cord and try it with your laptop. Perhaps the jack is damaged in your laptop, pulled, yanked, tugged, you get the idea. If so replace the AC jack. Bad Battery? How old, mine lasted 4 years.

SOURCE: Laptop will not power on at all.
Don't know what you have for a laptop, so will have to give you a generic process, here. Power down. Remove hard drive, remove cd reader and/or floppy drive. Remove memory cards. Replace only 1 memory card in the main slot (probably marked as slot 1). Try to power it back up and let us know what happens.

Maybe your battery was damage due to over charging it. You need to replace your battery. The desktop icon can says it's fully charged because you have plugged it and those are the indication that your battery was damage if you unplugged the AC power. The battery of the laptop are disposable and it cannot be repaire. The best solution of your problem was to replace your battery.
