It is impossible to give you a a repair cost because I cannot identify the exact fault without looking and running tests on your laptop. I do not know the labour and parts costs in Malaysia. I suggest you take your laptop to a computer repair shop and get a quote to fix your laptop.
Try going to control panel, then device manager, and try right clicking and updating all drivers that have to do with graphics or your screen.
If this doesn't do the trick then try finding the display drivers manually.
Hi , It sounds like your viedo chip on your motherboard went out , there is one thing you can try, start off by holding down the fuction key on your keyboard , followed by F1 through F12 to see if the computer screen comes back on and your system is not in the sleep mode other then that ots your viedo chip , you would have to check with the manf. to see if it can be replaced ..........Sorry ,,Good Luck Roy
It sounds like the Screen is coming to the end of its life. Has the screen been recently moved or dropped? Plasmas tend to lose its contrast after 60,000 hours of use. It could also be a loose connection from your source to your TV. Have you checked all your connections to the TV?
