Question about Cell Phones
Go to xda-developers.com and scroll through the forums tab to find your device. there will be very clear instructions on how to root and unlock your phone.
be advised that if you root your phone you potentially run the risk of bricking it and making it un-usable.
also you will need to make sure your phone is compatible with the new carrier you want to use it on.
