If the dryer cycles normally, it is most likely the elements or some part of the controls. turn the dryer on and check the voltage at the elements, if u have voltage then the element is bad.

if no voltage or not enough voltage, then u need to follow the circuit back to see were it stops.

if its on an old fuse system 1 could be blown, this would let it run without heating. the relay that turns the elements on could be bad and not engaging, if all this checks out then the timer is the culprit.

if u need more info msg me please

Check that exhaust air vent is venting air. If not, clear vent and retry.
Check that heating element is heating. if not, check overheat switch for continuity with power unplugged. If you don't have continuity get new switch. If it reads ontinuity then suspect the heating element.

My APT timer for my heating is not turning "as a clock"

Is this new installation?
If timer dial is not rotating, then timer is not wired correctly, voltage is wrong, or timer motor has stopped functioning.
If small motor used to rotate dial has gone bad, then replace timer.

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

I have an older dishwasher also and recently my wife also complained about it not cleaning right... so me being the man I am tried in vain to clean the things... Bought new spray arms online and installed them in minutes...now the thing works like new... However I have also found that if the heating element goes bad then that also can mess things up bad... I'm having trouble with the lower heating element not heating on my GE Electric Range. Its probably 10 + years old. The broiler element heats. Will I be able to replace the element or circuit board? ...

Most of the time it the heating element.

Hotpoint self cleaning oven won't heat

maybe a bad connection with the heating element. Check to make sure bottom element is pluged in all the way. May need to be replaced if anything looks strange (ie. burnt spot, hole, srrange color, or maybe no external sign)

Paragon 8145-20 defrost timer

I am not professional at commercial refrigeration, and can't answer your question directly.
However, you can see 8145-20 240V defrost timer wiring diagrams and manuals on following link.

8145 timer is time initiated, and pressure/temperature terminated, with back-up time termination.

I own a Maytag Dryer that has stopped working properly: Model LER6620PQ0 Serial MS3647251 Type DWJR-ELE-2406028-FM54 On all cycles, the timer moves until it is ready to stop. At that position, it...

Dear Paireyes,

Things that can stop electric dryer from heating are as listed: house fuse or breaker, heating element, burnt wire, thermostat, thermal fuse (not all models), motor heat switch, timer, selector switch, burnt power cord/plug

To check various points here are the simple tips:
  1. To check the thermal fuse - You can bypass the thermal fuse (just connect the 2 wires together) for testing purposes only.
  2. To check the thermal cut-out - You can bypass the thermal cut-out (just connect the 2 wires together) for testing purposes only.
  3. To check the thermostats for continuity - - You can bypass the thermostat (just connect the 2 wires together) for testing purposes only.
  4. To check the Element: Try removing element and physically looking at the element wire for a break in the wire.

Here is the link for the dryer and how to disassemble the dryer along with the images:

Let me know if that helps. All the best :)

Regards,
Srinivas
