hi there dave 2 things i have for you first you cant always go by earthloop reading on heaters you have to do a insulition test to that can afect (PCB) power control board if that is ok you are looking at a new board £100 plus unless you can find one on ebay or maybe i can find 1 for you. i hope this is of sevis to you noffie.........

you can do continuity test on the heating element with a multi meter to assure that it is working properly if it is then its most likely your tempreture sensor process of elimination is how you usually work error codes what is the model number of your machine as well and if you have any further questions message me back and please remember when our chat has fully concluded to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in the future with similar situations Thanks Rick
