Look at the mother board depending on model etc there may be a jumper (small piece of plastic with metal contacts inside) This being moved to the proper pins will help you clear the bios to factory.

My sistam is not restore ... WHY???

This error code usually points to an installation of windows that has been corrupted. I'm assuming that you have no USB flash drives plugged into the laptop when booting, if so, remove these and try a reboot.
Then try to boot to safe mode (f8)
If this fails, boot from the CD drive by setting the DC boot option as 1st boot in the bios, put the windows installtion CD in the drive and go through the install proceedure, selecting the REPAIR option.
If this fails, you will need to reinstall windows.
To recover any lost files, after reinstalling windows, download a utility such as recover my files and set it to a format recovery to get any lost files back.

Drive A media error bios checksum error

your current bios is corrupted since the check-sum that was generated when your bios eprom was flashed with your current bios version doesn't match the check-sum that is generated as now, meaning that your bios changed for a few bits. you can fix this problem by re-flashing your bios with a good ROM file that you can download from your computer maker site or your motherboard bios maker site, also upgrading your bios with a newer version will take care of the issue as well.

if you can enter bios (usually by pressing f2 or del), then load the default settings, otherwise, you will have to position the jumper properly, instructions for that are as follows.

1. Touch an exposed metal part of the case to ground yourself.
2. Unplug the power supply from the wall.
3. Move CMOS reset pins to short pins 2 and 3, then wait 10 minutes.
4. Replace CMOS reset pins back to 1 and 2.
5. Replug the power supply and boot.

Bios check sum error

Your bios defaulted. The battery keeps: date, time, and bios settings. You need to get in your bios and change the settings to what they need to be. You can enter the bios by hitting DEL during boot.

This messages indicates that the BIOS could not be located and loaded up. Normally this happens when the BIOS is corrupted. The corrective action required is to re-flash the BIOS using a DOS bootable diskette in the 1.44 FDD. Aside from the BIOS file, a flashing software is also needed. Pls start here.

Hope that this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
