Just installed new printhead

Didn't callibrate dont know how to fix

Go to Control Panel and click on printers. Then right click on your printer, then click on MAINTENANCE when the window opens, click on PRINT HEAD ALIGNMENT. Next the window will come up to START PRINT HEAD ALEignment. Follow the instructions from there. Hope that will help you get it fixed. Bud

Hi

Did you check the connections in the carriage if there is little amount of ink on the contacts? if not then clean it well with a dump cloth and try to re-install the old printhead it will sure accept it. If not then the other way is to change system date of the printer first and then try again.

I have taken the printhead out and cleaned it like the screen told me to do it. I have even turned on and off the printer, and when that didn't work I disconnected but still it didn't work. I...


It could be due to an outdated firmware version or a poor connection between the printhead and carrier contacts. Please follow the steps below to fix the problem:

1. From the printer control panel, touch Ink Levels > More Options > Replace Printhead.

2. Open the printer cover. Note: If the carrier does not automatically move to the center, turn off the printer/unplug the printer from the power source and then slide the carrier to the center.

3. Press the tab, and lift the latch. Pull up to remove the printhead. Close the printer cover then turn off the printer/unplug the printer from the power source.

4. Turn the printer back on. It will ask you to "Open Cover to Install the Printhead". Press the Home icon. It should take you back to the "Copy" menu.

5. Proceed with the firmware update. Just go to http://bit.ly/p905fw.

6. Once the firmware update is successful, firmly re-insert the printhead.

Kodak all in one printer instalation error codes


Unfortunately, the only way to possible fix this error is to get the printhead out and reseat it. You can do that by removing the ink cartridges. Right above where the black ink cartridge was, at the top left hand corner of the printhead, if you push up towards the ceiling there should be a button that releases the printhead. You should now be able to tilt the printhead forward and pull it out of the printer. Reseat the printhead by putting it back in the printer and pushing straight back on the back wall of the printhead. It should snap into place. Replace the ink cartridges and close the printer. If the error clears, download the newest firmware from kodak.com so this never happens again.

If these steps do not clear the error however, call Kodak AiO tech support at 1800 421 6699 to get a new printhead.

Printer won't print


My printer will not print black ink. The color ink is very light. I replaced a new color cartlidge, cleaned the printheads and tried to callibrate, but the printer could not identify the callibration page from my scanner. Can you help me resolve my problem?

i dont really know what the problem is but you may not have to replace the printer head. all u have to do is tale it out see if the the printer head is dry or not. if so set it in water for about an hour and put it back in

Callibrating after every job


With the printer on remove the printhead and turn the printer off. Turn the printer back on again without the printhead and let restart. Once the printer has finished the startup process reinstall the printhead. Let us know if that works and please don't forget to rate this posting.
