Question about Tecnik TKC8525 Double Oven
My bottom oven isn't working, if I try switching in on it gives a sparking noise and trips the trip switch, the element looks ok, the small top oven is working fine.
Any suggestions very welcome
To be certain the element is o/k , you need to test it with a meter.
The fact that it looks o/k proves nothing. If you know how to use a meter, then remove element from oven, and with the meter set on the continuity range, test across the terminals of the heater, if you get fsd, ( full scale deflectoin) then the element should be o/k.
If no deflection , then element is no good.
If in doubt, remove the wires from the element , and try the oven, if it does not trip, then it proves element faulty.
Plz rate my solution.
