Question about Optoma Projector Multimedia Projector
I just hooked up my Optoma DV11 projector and many images (color of peoples skin) and most things that are yellow (first down marker in football) are coming up blue. I tried many different adjustments and hours later I am still stuck with the same problem. Does anyone have a suggestion.

i don't know if this will work but..... I have an Optoma h27 and we were having problems with the color and ours is mounted on the ceiling in inverted also; and after two years we started having color problems, come to find out that on the menu there is a option for high altitude and that had been turned to the "off" position (probably by our kids resetting all the options and not turning this one back on)..... after taking it to a tech that cleaned it for $97.00 and said there was no problems he could find, we played around with the remote/menu and came across this high altitude option and when we saw it was on the "off" position, we put it to the "on" position and another fan inside the projector came on and that helps to keep the inside of the projector cool at all time and helps from the color becoming weird..... Try this on yours and hopefully that will solve your problem.

either the settings are off (reset them to factory default) or your colorwheel needs to be replaced. try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

i had, have the same problem i also replaced the bulb then shortly after the power went out no standby light or anything. From what i've read so far it seems like a power supply issue so i ordered two power supplys from optoma 1 for lamp 1 for the unit waiting on delivery from CA they were $ 99 each if this work i'll be one happy camper. Three years no problems it's a great machine with incredible picture using 106" screen

This is a convergence problem that is not likely to be fixable without some test equipment. Check the menues for a convergence adjustment. You don't specify the model, so I can't provide any details here. If you can post the model number, I may be able to assist further.

its not the color wheel. Its the sensor that counts the black tape on the color wheel. The sensor has dust on it. It can't count how many times the wheel is going around because the dust is blocking it. the sensor is located by the wheel. if you have any questions you can callme 610-842-7442 ask for dan.
