I had 3 brain surgeries--cerebral aneuryisms & have 5 titanium clips in my head. Is it safe to use the wireless Dell mouse?- There is no magnetic field that would be harmful, is there?

I would recommend you to work not more than 3 Hours continuously on Computer, it will be good for your health.

Take rest for Half an hour and then resume to work again for 2 hrs. maximum.

Basically all magnetic field are somehow cause harm to our body but marginally on healthy people, you need to take extra precautions.

Underneath the keyboard is a little 're-set' button. When you push this it re-synchs with the wireless antenna. Make sure you hold it down long enough fo rthe keyboard to synch, usually about 5 - 7 seconds.

Dell wireless mouse and keyboard-no instructions

Most Bluetooth keyboards and mice are just Plug-n-Play and does not require any driver installation. You need to isolate the problem, please follow the steps below:

1. Make sure that the wireless adapter of your wireless KB and mouse is properly connected to the USB port of the computer.

2. Make sure that the USB ports of your computer are working.

3. Use fresh batteries for the KB and mouse.

4. After connecting the wireless dongle to the computer, turn on your KB and mouse (there should be an ON/OFF switch underneath).

5. Briefly press the connect button on the wireless dongle and then hold down the connect button underneath the mouse for five seconds and then release it.

6. Do the same steps for the KB.

Have a good day!

Wireless mouse

Try a different mouse pad or use on a white sheet of paper.
Make sure there is no source of electromagnetic interference, like speakers, magnets, etc, close by.
Stay within a 4 foot range of the reciever.
Try a different USB port for the reciever, and try to elevate the reciever (if corded type), by placing it on a book.
Do not use the mouse on metal/glass surfaces as this can affect tracking ability.
Try a replacement of batteries with a fresh set.

Hope that helps!

Wireless mouse problem

Some research online indicates that model eats batteries quickly, and has trouble with certain mousepads/surfaces. In general, wireless mice and keyboards that use radio to communicate can be very sensitive to the metal around them, so if you are on a desk with a lot of metal, try moving the receiver much closer to the mouse, and see if that helps.
