SOURCE: I have a Sony Handycam
This is a common problem on Sony Cam. However, Sony have not taken any step to resolve it.
Error - c 32:11 -
UNLOAD direction. Loading does not complete within specified time Load the tape again, and perform operations from the beginning.
The code is for a tape path error and you need a competent technician to look at the camera. Repair is not an option as Sony is charging around $200 for repair when you could get the same model ( used ) for even less than $100 on ebay.
Try these steps:
1. Open the tape cover fully until it clicks open.
2. Turn the camcorder on to "VCR Mode."
3. With the cover still open and the camera in "VCR mode," take out the battery.
4. Put the battery back in--out should pop your tape.
You might have to do it twice or thrice.
There is one more unconventional solution that some have mentioned on the forums that have resolved their problem. You remove the cassette, battery, and external power from the camera - hold the camera with the cassette up in one hand, and smack it against the other hand a few times - apparently this frees some binding or, reseats the rollers into their guides. This I would recommend at your own risk - but some have done it as a last resort and it worked.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

SOURCE: I have a Sony Carl
This is usually caused by a defective LCD module or a defective flex cable that conects the LCD to the camera. I recommend replacing them both at the same time. The LCD / Touchscreen module is no longer available from Sony for this Model. However, I have a limited supply of them in stock as well as an aftermarket supplier with hundreds of them. My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I'm semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair costs low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs. If this response has been of any help to you, please be sure and give a positive vote for me on FixYa.com.
