SOURCE: Tried to replace the heating

Hello,
Is the part# WB51X 442 or WB51X443 ?
If it is, thats the replacment for the single one that GE made refrig. for Sears,GE had such a super high failure rate on the single they are replacing them with the dual heater and it will fit as long it isnt to long the WB51X442 was for narrow freezer and WB51X443 is for larger cubic feet refrigerators.

SOURCE: The water dispenser on my GE fridge, model

There is a simple switch behind the push lever which activates the water/ice dispenser circuit. Sometimes these switches are poorly engineered to the lever with an adhesive or plastic rod which will break away. This is the first place I would look for a culprit.

Passanger headlight doesn't work. Brand new lightbulb no luck, fuses are good. what could be the problem

Hi,
Look under the hood for a fuse panel. There should be a diagram on the lid that shows HeadLight Relays. If there is one for the left and right, try swapping them - WITH THE KEY OFF. If that changes the light that works, then either the dealer or an auto parts store should have the relay.

It's also possible the headlight harness is bad - they can overheat and melt. Verify there is no damage to the harness wired from the headlight to the fuse panel under the hood.

If you also lost the light dimmer and highbeams, you may have a short in your wiring, or the 'stalk' on the steering wheel is bad.

Admiral dryer super capacity dryer won't heat up and light doesn't stay on. It happened when we first brought it home years ago and the repair may said to reset some button but I don't kn

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer. Is it plugged in? If you plug something else into the outlet, does it work? If not, check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker.

Door Switch

If the door switch or the door-switch actuator is defective, the dryer won't work and you need to replace the failed component. The switch is inside the dryer main housing near the door frame. Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch. Check for continuity you should have none with door open, and should have a reading when closed. If not replace the door switch.

Thermal Fuse / Thermal Cut out

On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse (a heat-sensitive fuse that blows if the dryer overheats) mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel or behind the front panel. The fuse is about an inch long. It's usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing or is sometimes round and made of metal and plastic.

If the fuse has blown, it has no continuity. When this happens, your dryer either just stops heating, or it doesn't work at all. Be sure to inspect the venting/heating system before replacing the fuse this is the most common reason for blowing the fuse. (You can't re-set this type of fuse.)

Wiring

Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, burns and the connection breaks. In this has happened to your dryer, you need to replace the power cord and the terminal block inside the dryer to which the wire is attached.

Lightbulb will not work on the Fridgerator model number EB22DKXWN01 I have changed the bulb but still will not work

UNPLUG the unit and get a flashlight and look inside the hole and look and see if there is any discoloration in it and if so take a small wire toothbrush and clean it up with a dry wash rag then take a needle-nose plier and lift up the little tab in the center of the hole about a quarter inch up so that the bottom of the bulb will touch it. You can place a little bit of vaseline on the end of the bulb and around the threads so you won't have that problem again. If that doesn't do it then it's the door switch that turns on.

MWe have an Admiral hmg 21176 the freezer is working ok, but the bottom fridge is not. It's too warm. We unplugged it for a day and it seem to cool as always, but then returned to the warmer temp. Just...

Assuming your evaporator is completely frozen, I would defrost the coils with a hair dryer, the clip off the defrost thermostat on top of the evaporator coils. Strip and short the wires together, then check if defrost works, if so, order a new one .

How to replace interior dome light bulb?

1) Remove the key from the ignition. Make sure the doors are closed, so the new bulb does not illuminate when you are installing it.

2) Make sure the dome light switch is turned to the "Off" position. Pry the plastic lens away from the dome light. Use a small, flat-head screwdriver.

3) Push back the side bulb clamp. Pull out the old dome lightbulb. Wipe the area with a paper towel if it is dirty.

4) Wrap the new bulb in a paper towel (oil from your skin will shorten its life). Insert it into the dome lightbulb holder. Push it up gently to secure it.

5) Turn the switch to "On" to test the bulb. Reposition the cover and push up to lock the clips into place.

If the bulb doesn't work, you've got a bad switch somewhere, probably on the drivers door.

Admiral side by side model HMG53168. There is ice in the bottom of the freezer, and water on the floor. The drip pan is dry.

Ronald Coons' answer was helpful, pointing me in the right direction. Sure enough, the drain was frozen shut. I had looked for a drain but didn't see one in the bottom of the freezer, didn't realize it was in the back. Anyway, I also noticed the drain tube sloped UP underneath the fridge, then dropped down into the drain/evaporating tray. That guarantees that there would be water sitting in the tube, ready to freeze. I don't worry about critters going up an empty hose, so I removed the clamp holding the hose, cut some off of the end so the hose can now go DOWNhill from the drain to the tray. If that doesn't fix it, I'll go buy some copper wire and implement the rest of Mr. Coons' solution.
