My purifier says to "perform

Krowan - You will need to remove and clean th efiler on the back, remove and clean the ceramic or glass plaques, as well as clean any dust accumulation inside the uint itself. This cam be accomplished by using canne compressed air with a straw nozzle (like you clean your computer with). Just be sure not to blow dust in your eyes.

The filter you can back flush at the kitchen sink, using warm rater. Allow it to thoroughly dry, before reinstalling it. Th e plaques can be cleaned using unscented ammonia and and old tooth brush. Rinse the thoroughly, place between 2 towel to dry completely, before reinstalling them.

That's about all you need to do. Make sure you reinstall the parts properly and that the filer is triggering the safety device.

To further help you, here's a link to the Owner's Manual, that you can download and print for future reference.

Hope this helped you.

Tip

High efficiency filters come with a cost besides $

Those high efficiency pleated or dust fighter filters will have the 90% or more efficiency in removing particulates, however the CFM or cubic feet per minute of airflow will be greatly reduced, approx 4-500 CFM, and thats worth 1 ton of capacity! So youre 3 ton is a 2 ton now but really clean! On days it seems to be losing the battle with heat remocve the filter for a 99 cent cheapie that flows better, in heat mode they are not as critical in my experience, but summers can be.

I have some heat, burners on, is there a way to get more heat air filters clean i dont know what to do

If you are using a pleated or high efficiency type filter, that is a problem, the high efficiency filters
actually restrict a great deal of airflow, a AC unit requires 500 cubic ft per minute of airflow per ton of refrigeration capacity, 500 sq ft of home per ton generally = 1500 sq ft home has a 3 ton unit or needs 1,500 cfm of airflow, both in heat and cool modes, Honeywelll Enalysises prove these filters even when new reduce up to 500 cfm of airflow, effectively making a 3 ton system a 2 ton in output due to airflow restriction, try removing that filter with the fan on, it likely is pulled in sold with a huge pressure drop caused by tj filters obstuctive flow capabilities.
And 755 of all A evaoprator coils have been plugged or restricted by dust , dirt, oils from cooking, cigarrettes, running with no filter etc, a chemical cleaning of the evap coil above the firnace, or brlow it is indicated as a possible issue. Use the cheap 99 cent seee through filters we used to use

Hi my lap top turn off alone as is warmer but its cooled

I personally had this model for about a year. It was one of the last laptops to have actual Pentium 4 processors put in it. They create a ton of heat and the heatsink design will clog just like the lint catcher in your dryer. Try this:

1. Take out of the battery and remove the AC Adapter
2. Flip the laptop upside down and locate the two fans towards the back corner.
3. Using an air compressor, shortly shoot air into those fans shooting towards the back of the laptop. (can of air is never strong enough)
4. You should see dust and **** fly out the back.

Note: this is not generally very good for your fans so try not to overkill them. You can keep your laptop in clean areas and even use one of those cooling pads but you will still get dust to stack up inside. I personally did this to my laptop every 2-3 months to keep it clean.

Laptop shuts down

HI- I have one and it shuts down to. For us it was a problem with overheating and dust in the laptop. I beleive there are heat sensors inside the laptop that go, so that could be it. For the most part, when it shuts down, we have found it to be dust as after we clean it, it doesn't happen as much. For the dust- the first time blew air into the fan outlets (both of them) and a ton of dust came out. Sounds simple, but it worked. A tell tale sign may be if your laptop sounds louder than it normally does. We use the compressed air can every so often and even just put the vacum nozle over the fans (you'll hear them whirl and see dust coem out). I also have the lap top sitting on a "vent filter" like people use for thier heting/ac vents (WEB Electrostatic Vent Filters). They come in 4x12 sheets and are cheap. The fans **** up a ton of dust and this helps keep some of it out. Good luck...Steve

Paper will not feed into machine

Most likely the sensor in the insertion area is not recognizing a paper when you try to insert it to be shredded.

Try to clean out the gears, and oil the grinders.

Clean around the insertion area to remove any debris from around the sensor. (Be sure to turn it off/unplug it first!).

If you can remove the shredder head/grinders from the body of the shredder box, turn it upside down and clean it that way as well.

Sometimes the little pieces of paper get clogged up inside the gears.

I got some of the dust spray with the straw...inserted the straw deep into the shredder grinder/gears and sprayed.  I got tons of stuff out.

My motor/grinder worked perfect after I did all this.

Good luck!
