The control board has gone out in the console. Here is the part you need to order. To replace the part, unplug the unit, remove the back of the control panel. Be sure to take note of the wiring connections.

The part comes with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

SOURCE: Frigidaire Range control panel DEAD

We tested the EOC and it will indeed need a replacement. Also, just a couple weeks prior we ran the "clean" mode on the oven as did another poster who experienced the "pop" and loss of the control board/oven function, but still had stove top function.

We finally lucked out--opened the oven door and pressed a black button on the upper left side of the front of the oven. It turned out the flashing words and unlocked our door. Weird. There was nothing in the manual about this...

My Tappan oven is built in and 23 years old. I put it on self clean. It did, but the noise won't shut off. I turned the oven to off, but the noise still goes on. There is no way I can unplug it.

Tappan Gas stove

The pilot adjustment screw is located on the back side of the oven temperature thermostat. Lift the cook top to access it. Use a flat screwdriver to adjust... counter clockwise= bigger flame.
