Question about Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ9549L Top Load Washer
My washing machine is making this loud rattling sound when it comes to the rinsing cycle... the water does drain slowly but the noise scares me so I turned it off...
I've been reading that others have similar problems, could it be the motor coupler? I tipped the machine back to see if anything has fallen off but found nothing underneath (btw, my machine is 8 year old... but it works great!!!)
Thanks for your help!
Could be the coupler and the only way to truely check it is to take the pump, then the motor off. But it seems strange to me that you say it works fine. Is it spinning? usually when the coupler breaks it sounds horrible and usually will not spin but it will drain.I would check the coupler again.
