I purchased this 32" Ilo from a walmart. I have connected it to my pc with no problem however I cant get the screen resolution past 1024 x 768 without it blacking out and reading in the top right hand corner "not support". I have a
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS graphis card so I dont think that the card is my issue. It does have a DVI plug also on the card. Would that be a better port to use? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks BL
I have the same problem. I got this for a alturnitive montiore for my computer and it has been nothing but problems. And I have the same video card as you. I guess Im out 700 bucks. makes a nice paper weight.

This is a familiar problem with Ilo, ours came earlier when there was still an Ilo to call and the set was only 6 weeks old.
The problem is probably with the circuit also used for the IR remote; the set-top buttons and the remote both are processed through the same defective circuit.
Jimmy's parts may have what you need to get control over your set:
They seem to have an unusual quantity of Ilo parts and may have bought the leftovers out of bankruptcy.
Good luck - just remember WalMart when you start laying out cash for their junk.
most of the new TV's use a SCAT plug to allow connection of a PC or laptop. I doubt that this TV has that sophistication. The ISB will not do it and neither will S VIDEO.
As for the cable you could try a male to male plug to mnake a coaxial connection. These TV's were made to a price for walmart and you got what you paid for which was a cheap TV. There was no warranty offered by Walmart for these either

REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your iLo player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "ILO 2GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and give you a fresh start.
