the actual problem is some of the components on some of the boards are showing signs of age (some of the values are changing slightly) this can be compensated for by adjusting your voltages (such as va & vs ) this take a little tech knowhow. or you can replace the y sus board but adjustments are necessary whenever replacing y or z control boards. hope this helps. i may know where to get boards if you need them.

Its very likely that you need to have LG perform a sodtware upgrade on your unit. Contact LG and see if your tv is one of the applicable units with software upgrade issues, please let me know if it works. Good Luck.
