System error [L1-00] refer to user guide

i checked the scan head and it is unlocked. The cartridge is new it has paper i don't know what the deal is.

Sometimes the ribbon cable underneath the scanner can bind the scanner if the adhasive has come loose. If you can remove the scanner glass, the ribbon cable can be secured with some scotch tape.

turn the power off remove catridge then check there is not any paper jam also check in back side.
then if problem remains then open the front chip bord in centre pull it then refix ram after clean dust from its.also reset your printer settings to factory defauts
