Question about Dryers
I have a Frigidaire (model #FER211FS), we bought brand new 4 years ago. The dryer worked fine at the old house, we just moved and the top right hand side of the dryer is getting burning hot (you cant even touch it). I opened up the lid and that is where all the wires are and there was a burning smell. Is it time I need to get a new dryer or is this fixable without spending a ton of money?
Hi there try drying a load without your house ducting.if its restricted at all this cause the heat to not leave the dryer a designed by manufacture and their for get hotter.can be other things but thats most common.ps should have good air flow leaving dryer when vent off.but because fine at house just moved from i think new house is the problem.God bless ,tom
