Corrupted bios

Look at section 4.1.5 on pg 74
It will tell you how to reset your BIOS incase of such an event like this occurs.
You will probably need a USB drive to transfer the BIOS from there to your motherboard. It will auto-detect once in your USB slot, but if for whatever reason this didn't solve it, there is a good amount of information about BIOS on this link so you should browse around that area/table of contents and you should be able to find the answer if this didn't solve it!

What does a orange power light mean

please see the commentary. God bless you

  • The majority of laptops will display a solid green, blue or purple battery light to indicate that the battery is fully charged. Most manufacturers indicate that a laptop is in the process of charging by displaying a solid or blinking green, orange, blue or purple light. If your battery indicator light is green, blue or purple, the battery is probably functional, regardless of whether the light is blinking. If the light is solid orange, the laptop is probably in the process of charging.

Battery Error Coneventions

  • Many battery manufacturers use rapidly blinking lights to indicate that a battery's charge level is low. In general, a laptop will rapidly blink orange or red when its charge drops below a certain level until the computer is plugged into a power outlet and charged. If your laptop's battery indicator continues to blink rapidly in orange or red or if it remains red even when it is plugged into the charger, it indicates a problem with your battery or the charger.

What cable connects my netbook to my tv?

Most plasma/LCD's have a PC monitor plug on it. Most laptops will have one too. (or even DVI, which is usually a white plug, and wider than the VGA cable)

Either way, i'm confident that you'll probably have the BLUE 15-pin standard VGA on the monitor and the computer. If so, buy that. If you have the wider white (DVI), it'll be even better!

Can't view laptop display on panasonic plasma using hdmi cable

Whenthe notebook computer is in HDMI mode, images sometimes do not displayat all; other times, images and text display, but it is distorted. Toresolve this issue, please download and install the NVIDIA GeForce 9200GS driver, version 7.15, revision A (SP42668) or later at the HP Software & Driver downloads page.

Hope this helps - good luck!
