Buy a USB flash memory and download the files to the flash drive, they come in many sizes and are cheap on eBay to buy, I suggest a 16 GB size. Plug it in and let the computer load the operating files (auto sequnce) and then right click all the files you wish to move and send them to the flash memory, then load them onto your laptop the same way.

Go in the BIOS, in the boot sequence make your DVD player as the 1st number device to boot from, restart your machine and do follow the article (you should know the admin password to go into the system drive):
Note: If you are too overwhelmed then your Product recovery DVD will give you your original OS and all settings back.

All the vista drivers can be used for 7. By default, windows 7 installs all drivers except for touchpad.
You can find 32 bit version for it here
The 64 bit of Windows 7 64-bit ALPS touchpad driver from the Dell support site for a Latitude E6410 is reported to also work for D620. Give it a try.

That's nothing serious. I have come across such issue a few days ago, and I tried to reset Windows 7 password in safe mode but failed.
Thanks to my friend David who introduced me to use Windows Password Reset , I solved my trouble in a few miniutes.
Besides,he also taught me some methods esle as use reset disk, accessible administrator account ect.
