Why? I don't understand why you need to slow the printer down. Now If you are using card stock or thicker paper and are trying to prevent damage to the media, make sure you have set the paper type and weight correctly when you load your trays. You also must make those changes in the software on your laptop/PC. If you don't, it will default to printer settings and never slow down.The device will slow down and open the gap between the hot roller & the pressure roller in the fuser to prevent creasing/damage to the document.
format the pen drive after taking the backup and then defragmented it

defragmentation then check your computer configuration and its space

CAUSE: The machine memory is corrupt.
SOLUTION: Perform a data clear:
1. Browse to the NIC/Log on as Administrator/Select the Scan tab/Import Export and back up the one-touch addresses to the desktop.
2. Enter Tech Rep mode.
3. Select System 1.
4. Select Data Clear and press start. Wait for the machine to cycle OFF/ON and for the POWER OFF MACHINE WITH THE MAIN POWER SWITCH message.
5. Import the one-touch list back to the NIC.
6. Re-install the HDD and power the machine OFF/ON.
7. Reset the Marketing area to U.S. and the target to U.S.
8. Re-install the TCP/IP address and power the machine OFF/ON.

you need a sata board to get maximum speed of sata driver connect it directly to motherboard sata jack converter does not give full sata speed
normally, it's because you are copying in a high resolution. have a look at your user manual, lower the scan resolution and it should be a lot faster. Check that you're scanning in black and white -that can speed things up as well.
