Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
The wireless icon in the bottom right hand corner of my acer aspire one isn't popping up so i cant connect . i have tried going to network manager but network manager is not starting up (turning on)
someone plz help it is brand new and i need it fixed thanx !!
I had this.. but i have a 3 year warenty... so send it off..and get it repaired if you can?.. mine works fine now.. im not sure what they done to it..
should aaalways get the warenty and garentees! things allways break when they come out new.

Go to my computer properties device manager network adapters.then enable it if disabled.

Tips for a great answer:
Locate the Wireless LAN switch located on the front of your Acer Notebook.
Move the switch to the right to turn on Wireless connections.
Right-click the network icon located on the system tray next to the clock.
You should see a list of available wireless networks.
Select the network you want to connect to and click "Connect."
Power on the Acer Aspire laptop.
Right-click the wireless Internet icon in the lower right corner of the desktop.
Select "Enable" from the pull-down menu.
Right-click the wireless icon again.
Select to view all available wireless networks in the area.
Momentarily a window appears with all of the available Wi-Fi networks.
Select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to, then type in the password (if required).
Click "Connect," and your Acer Aspire computer connects to the Internet.

Check the wireless router and high-speed modem.
If the two are not powered on, or if the Ethernet cable connected the two is not completely inserted into both connection ports, you are unable to access the Internet on the Acer Aspire One laptop computer.
Activate the wireless Internet connection on the laptop computer.
Right-click the wireless icon on the desktop, then choose "Enable" from the pop-up menu.
Without activating the wireless receiver on the Acer Aspire One, the laptop is unable to detect any wireless network.
Select the appropriate network you wish to connect to.
Your computer may be attempting to connect to a different Internet connection, preventing you from access the network you desire. Right-click the wireless icon, select "Search for available wireless networks," then choose the network you want to access.
Restart the computer.
The system may have booted and failed to detect the wireless receiver. Restarting the computer corrects this issue.
