Question about Philips Magnavox 51MP392H Rear Projection Television
Everything white on the screen looks blue, especially if there is a dark background. Not only is the white bluish, the white has a haze around it that is bluish in color. Sharpness is gone, appears that the blue is not focused.
This problem is caused by contaminated coolant in the BLUE crt.
It has grown bacteria and the bacteria is bluring / fogging the picture. You need to remove the blue crt, drain out the old coolant (which I suspect will look like apple juice or apple sauce) Once this is done, clean out the crt lenses, and the surface of the crt under the lense. Once cleaned, reassemble, and refill with new, crystal clear crt coolant, re-converge, and it will be a night and day difference!
If you need a service manual for this set I have uploaded it in the resources / technicians corner section of techlore.com.

Usually there's a HUE setting for color problems. try to go and play with the HUE whih is usually beside the contrast, brightness....etc.
if that didnt work, then there's a problem with the deflection coils focusing, either from shipping or a hard hit. if its still under warranty send it back for repair.
let me know if that helped, good luck :)
