One of the six pulleys on your belt is a tensioner. All you have to do is put a ratchet on that and put a little pressure on it and you will be able to have an assistant remove the belt. Pay attention to the routing diagram under your hood, you must follow that when installing the new belt.

Another way (and the way I prefer) is get a crowbar or similar metal object with one flat end and use that to move the tensioner, then have your assistant remove the belt.

I need belt routing diagram

All 1994 Cadillacs were delivered with a SERPENTINE BELT DIAGRAM sticker, affixed to the engine compartment.
Serpentine belt routing varies from vehicle to vehicle, based on optional equipment, so you need to find this sticker affixed to your vehicle to assure proper belt installation.

Why does1995 toyota camry die when i it in put in gear

could be a clogged fuel filter or faulty pump. check to make sure your timing belt/chain hasn't snapped. do this by removing your distributor cap and checking to see if the rotor turns while starting the car. if it doesn't that means its broken, but if it turns then you know the chain/belt is good. also check and make sure your brakes aren't locked up, preventing you from moving. . .

Timing belt replacement

Tyically 80 to 90,000 kms for most domestic vehicles.
driving and weather conditions history.
expense of repairing damages instead.
the exposure to contaminants in timing belt area. eg. main/cam oil leak...
vehicles life expectancy.
extent of other expenses incurred as water-pump and other timing components very well should be replaced, perhaps oil pump gauged and inspected for wear (test for oil pressure at different rpm and under load and especially when hot...)
Info provided is Typical to most Modern Domestic vehicles and not from any manual particular to Kia or other brands and is only suggested as a moderate answer to your question.

One should refer to manufacturer specs and recalls on occassion
Google and other search providers can give you indepth info to most.

Was driving to put new part in tension pulley when the belt snapped off. So put new belt and I ran for a good min or less then engine stop like it seized

What is the make and model of the car? Are you saying that just that belt system does not turn or the whole engine wont run?

My car is overheating. I have changed the thermistat. That was not the problem. I am thinking it's the water pump and need to know how to replace it. I do not have the owner's manule. 1998 dodge neon 2.0 L

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Raise and safely support the vehicle. Remove the right inner splash shield.
  3. Remove the accessory drive belts and power steering pump.
  4. Drain the cooling system into a suitable container.
  5. Securely support the engine from the bottom, then remove the right engine mount.
  6. Remove the power steering pump bracket bolts, then set the pump and bracket assembly aside, but the power steering lines do not need to be disconnected.
  7. Remove the right engine mount bracket.
  8. Remove the timing belt tensioner and timing belt
  9. Remove the camshaft sprocket(s) and inner timing belt cover
  10. Unfasten the water pump-to-engine attaching screws, then remove the water pump from the engine.
  11. Remove and discard the water pump O-ring, and thoroughly clean the mating surfaces.
To install:
  1. Install a new O-ring gasket in the water pump O-ring groove. Hold the O-ring in place with a few small dabs of suitable silicone sealant.
  2. WARNING Before proceeding, make sure the O-ring gasket is properly seated in the water pump groove before tightening the screws. A improperly installed O-ring could cause a coolant leak.
  3. Position the water pump to the block and install the retainers. Tighten the retainers to 9 ft. lbs. (12 Nm). Use a pressure tester to pressurize the cooling system to 15 psi and check the water pump shaft seal and O-ring for leaks.
  4. Rotate the pump by hand to check for freedom of movement.
  5. Install the inner timing belt cover, timing belt and tensioner.
  6. Install the right engine mount bracket and engine mount.
  7. Refill the cooling system with the proper type and amount of coolant.
  8. Install the power steering pump and accessory drive belts.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
  10. Use a DRB or equivalent scan tool to perform the camshaft and crankshaft timing relearn procedure, as follows:
    1. Connect the scan tool to the Data Link Connector (located under the instrument panel, near the steering column).
    2. Turn the ignition switch ON , and access the miscellaneous screen.
    3. Select the re-learn cam/crank option, then follow the instructions on the scan tool screen.

Want to elimanate AC I need a diagrahm of how to route belts

Check at your local parts store to see if they carry a pulley assembly that installs in place of the compressor. If installed - same belt, same routing. Good luck.
