Question about BenQ FP567s 15" LCD Monitor

Picture is Sideways

The picture on my monitor suddenly went sideways and I cannot get it to go back to the regular orientation. I tried to shut off the computer and turn it back on and also shut off the monitor and turn it back on and turn both off together but this did not work. I went into display in the control panel but there is nothing there to reverse the orientation. How do I fix this. My neck is getting sore!

My monitor has flipped the display so the picture is sideways. how do i correct this

there should be a menu or setup button on the monitor, what you're looking for is a setting called display orientation, the two options for which are landscape and portrait. you want landscape.

The screen is turned sideways

It sounds like you accidentally press the key combination to rotate the screen. This is a feature on some video cards to allow portrait display with the right monitor. Your monitor does not rotate so the picture is sideways. To correct this problem simply click CTRL + ALT + Up Arrow and your screen should return to the correct orientation.

I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.

Screen has turned sideways

Right click on an empty spot on the desktop and scroll down to either the Nvidia or ATI control panel. Once you are in the control panel, look in the left hand pane and look for something that says, screen orientation or screen rotation. When you select that it may give you the orientation in degrees of a compass or rosary. Make sure you place the monitor orientation at "0" degrees. This will bring the screen back to normal.

Your screen is set to sideways. These the common features for all video cards. You can set it back to default, just go to video control panel of your video card and find Display Rotation.
