You can not set the compression on two cycle motors, the compression new is at about 90 to 95 pounds after six to nine pulls of the recoil

Get a can of Nulon starter fluid and spray in the carby or a bit down the plug hole,it,s probably dried out.the Nulon is called Start you ?????.The spark appears weak on those machines ,that's normal.

This could be a couple of things, if the fuel tank brather is blocke the tank will vacume, to test this try slackening off the fuel cap when the saw starts to die, if it picks up again it is a fuel tank braether issue, the other possibility is a bad ignition unit breaking down, the only test for this is to replace the unit and try again.

How do i get the side back on my poulan wildthing theres a ring on the cover does whats the trick on getting it back on does it go around the sprocket housing or inside it

That is the brake ring and should fit over the clutch outer drum. If the brake was set when you pulled the cover off, it will be necessary to release the brake mechanism to get it to pass over the drum. Good luck!

You need to adjust the idle and high speed screw settings on the saw. Consult your user manual for tuning the engine.

my name is Dennis Gladx and I can assist you with the problem of getting the sprocket off of the crankshaft of your chainsaw.

To remove the centrifugal clutch and sprocket you unscrew it from the crankshaft and it has a left hand thread. Also a little trick to remove anything from a crankshaft that could turn while you want to unscrew the item, Remove the spark plug and insert some rope into the cylinder for the piston to squeeze against and you will jam the piston without damage.

Glad to be of assistance Please rate this solution because I can learn from your rating. Thank you

Hi tchild, my name is Dennis and I will try to assist you with your problem.
You can get the part from Poulan parts and it will take about 15 minutes to fix the first time eight minutes the second time. In addition I might add that to remove the centrifugal clutch and the sprocket, it unscrews from the crankshaft with a left hand thread.
