1. fix power cable fix in place.
2.fix hight and distance of sucksion and dilivery pipe ability
3.check ballbaring,impiler,valves,capacitor,and other part carefuly

4.first time starting u fill some water than start
5.check manual carefully

Hello, sorry you're having issues.

Sounds to me like your sucking air into the pump. Make sure you check all your connections before the pump as well as all gaskets and seals on the pump. A small air leak can cause major issue when it comes to above ground pumps. I can't get it to quit leaking on the top... the gasket is getting bad, maybe... do they sell repolacements?


you could get one or make one from a cardbord box and coat it with silicon gasket sealer

check thermal overload reset. check capacitor, if capacitor is bad, it wil run after a little help with startup. when you open the pump you can turn impellor.

Beckett large pond pump


if by large you mean one that likes the photo you have picture it is a lost cause as it it epoxy encased and unrepairable. If thats the case buy a pondmaster or atlantic pump. proven performers that are repairable and very good warranties

take the pump apart take the insides out the shaft and that's it . now take the part with all the copper wire soke it in turpintine put it back togethere the coating on the coper has a hole some were leave it in over night if your pump has circuit board remove before you put it in

No, once this inside of the cylinder cavity is scored it's toast, the only hope is that it is still under warranty.
