Question about Acer Aspire 4315 Notebook
Reinstall laptop operating system, First thing to do is install Norton Antivirus and download the current update from this site:
make sure to download the right file from the site, depending on the Antivirus version and operating system running on you Laptop (the most common is the second file with 32bit OS and most Norton 2003 to 2007 versions)
after file download, just double click it and it will equipt your AV with the latest virus defenitions.
now open norton antivirus and do a FULL System Scan.
it should catch most viruses on your laptop.
now delete your internet connection by going to Start menu ----> Connect to ----> show all connections -----> right click and delete
setup a new internet connection using New Connection Wizard
Now you should connect fine.
KEEP YOUR ANTIVIRUS UP TO DATE TO AVOID FUTURE PROBLEMS
BEFORE OPENING ANY USB MEMORY STICK (RIGHT CLICK AND SCAN IT FOR VIRUSES)
GOOD LUCK :)
