Hi! I connect my GPS to the mount in the car. Press the on button. It loads the maps; stops at the "I agree" button", then locks up. Can't get it to go from there. Any suggestions are appreciated. Marvin

Connect your Kindle to computer. After 5 minutes while still connected, press and hold (or slide and hold) Power button for 40 seconds. Also, make sure your kindle is always up to date with the kindle firmware. You have to go to the garmin.com site and download the "garmin express" on your computer and this software will read your unit to make sure its up to date.
Check the map menu to see if the new map is on the unit. At the main
menu, press the tools button then the map icon. Then press the "map
info" button. Look to see if the listing shows the new map that you just
downloaded or if the original older map is still there. Make sure that
the map is enabled by a check mark next to the map listing.
Try performing a soft reset. Disconnect the unit from any external power supply. Depress the reset button behind the flip up antenna. Reconnect the unit to the power supply and let it should work normally.
If the soft reset does not work, try performing a hard reset. Caution:
Performing a hard reset will erase all user information including
favorites and bookmarks and restore the unit back to factory settings.
Be sure to save any information before performing the hard reset. With
the unit off, press and hold the lower right hand corner of the screen
while turning the power on until a pop-up appears. Press "Yes" to
restore the unit back to factory settings.
If your garmin nuvi wont stop loading maps, then you need to reaet the unit to get it to work perfectly fine once again. Try to hold down the power button for about 15 seconds and the gps receiver will restart, this time it will load normally and show you your maps.
If that does not solve the problem, then you need to back up your maps then format your gps receiver from a computer then restore the software and maps back on, that should do the job for you.
Hope this helps.
First, try resetting your player by inserting a thin tool (such as an unbent paper clip) into the reset port on your GPS navigator. A copy of the owner's manual with schematics can be found at InsigniaProducts.com, under the Support tab. If resetting the device doesn't resolve the issue, I would recommend visiting the place of purchase to pursue service options.
The Garmin C340 comes preloaded with maps while the I3 require that the maps be installed onto a micro sd card.
You can place the micro SD card into a SD adapter and use a regular card reader to download your maps. When the software ask for 'Device' to download to use the drop down arrow and find your drive letter associated with the card reader. Using a card reader will be much faster since the it is ubs 2.0 vs ubs 1.1
You could also go to Garmin website and download and install the USB drivers, see link below.
