PRINTING BLURRED COLOR WRONG

The color printing comes out in washed out colors and sometimes a colored stripe down the edge of the page. Printing of characters is blurred

SOURCE: pictures printing with stripes of color in some programs but not all programs.

Try new injet cartidges. If your printer has separate head and ink combo, replace the jets. The high quality mode operates the piezo jets at full power and lower setting can cause jets not to open as far. On some preinters, your particalar problem can be the result of too thin paper and the economy setting being used. Use 18lb or 20lb paper and see if it still does it on normal print mode.

make sure your printer printed an initialisation or alignment sheet once you installed the new cartridge.
you can try a partial reset of the printer and check if the printer prints fine,also there is an option of cartridge calibration in the printer properties or the printer software installed in your computer

SOURCE: color ink not printing, I have replaced the color

It sounds like you have a severly clogged print head. The nozzles are likely gummed up and need to be cleaned. To do this, you need to inserta new set of OEM cartridges. Run the deep cleaning utiliity a half dozen times and then the alignment utility. This should clear the problem.
You have most likely been using aftermarket/reloaded cartridges with inks that do not meet the manufacturer's specifications. I would take them back to the vendor and ask for either a refund of replacements. If you are going to continue to use these cartridges, I would take out the OEM cartridges, reseal the two openings on the cartridge ( use electrician's tape) so that they can be used to clear the nozzles should they again become clogged with aftermarket ink.

Yes absolutely the PCU problem, contact your nearest shop to check the PCU before anything will happen to your printer.

Sounds like the transfer belt could be bad, however if your lines are just 1 color than replace that color toner cartridge

Epson Stylus CX4800 prints blurred pictures


ok..first you will need to print the nozzle check and see if all the color are printed out fine.. this feature is under the printer properties , under the utility tab.... assuming all your colors nozzle are printed fine..then the next thing for you to do is do the Print Head Alignment.. it's under the same place where you print the nozzle check.. when you press the Print Head Alignment, it will print a page out with many lines.. choose the one with the best alignment.. once u done that..try printing the image again..
oh..if your nozzle check print out is not good.. then you will need to perform head cleaning to clear the clogged head..

What you have is a dried up color cartridge. You can try to use the <clean print heads> in the diagnostic tools section of you priner software. (usually, just try to print something & the window will appear) Sometimes you have to clean heads, then print test page like 2 or 3 times before it clears up. If that doesn't correct it, don't worry. Have your color cartridge filled (staples, office depot, & other stores do it cheap) - or - replace it with a new cartridge. You may have to run the clean print heads program after installing a new cartridge, but this will definitely fix your problem.

Printer output has shadows, blurring, streaks, lines, poor color


Seem like blocked hole(s) on the color print head...
Most likely if there is a deep clean option then do it (may need a few times to unblock a hole or never).
Also get the printer physically cleaned up if you can see dusts inside (vrtical lines on color bars).

Hp color laserjet 1600 copies have a blurred image


This sounds like a registration problem.

Use the menu (on the printer) to print antest page AND a configuration/information page.

Look (critically) at the alignment of the seperate coloure Yellow Magenta Cyan. You will probably find that these are out of aligmnent across the page.

The cause of this, is that the printer can't perform a calibration properly (printer probably takes a long time when calibrating too) and is usually down to failure of one of the sensors on the transfer belt.

Sometimes you can clean these and solve the problem, but often is a failure of the component itself. Thes are NOT available as a spare part, and the repair to correct this would need a replacement transfer belt.

Transfer belt replacement in this printer is quite an involved task, though it is within the capabilities of someone with reasonable mechanical aptitude.
