My blackberry says no signal

Remove your device battery, insert the appropriate SIM card and then restart your handheld. Next, open up your Manage Connections options again. Select Mobile Network Options and then change the Network Technology from 1XEV to GSM/UMTS. (Remember, if you want to go back to CDMA, you need to switch back the network technology option.)

I have really poor signal most of the time, sometimes it's "emergency calls only" for no apparent reason, sometimes it says the GPRS is detached, sometimes there's just no bars even though i'm...

Are you using an old SIM card? Sometimes a worn out SIM card won't make a solid connection with the metal contacts, resulting in a drop in signal strength.
You might want to look into getting a new SIM from your carrier, and see if that helps.
Otherwise, I am guessing it is a hardware problem with the phone itself.

go to control panel-connections-mobile networks-more-gsm/3g networks-select gsm only then done
also
go to control panel-connections-internet accounts-more-options-in the preferred mode choose cs only then save
wait for a few seconds and you will receive a signal from your network

Does't connect to network - search Network

Hi
It sounds like you may have a poor 3G reception in your area. Even though other O2 phones are working better they may be running on the 2G masts in your area.
Try in setting/network menu turning off 3G reception, that way the device will only look for 2G masts. Your handset will give priority to 3G masts where available and sometimes will hold onto the weakest signal making poor call quality, and or dropping connection.
Advantages to using 2G only = better standby and talk time / better reception where 3G is poor.
Disadvantages = Slower web browsing / no video calls.

WEP / WPA will only apply if you are connecting using WI FI and have nothing to do with your mobile network connection.
Hope that helps?

HTC Touch -- Drops Connection to cell tower

I find the HTC touch drops many more calls than other phones I've had. Just doesn't seem to be able to hold a weak signal very well. On my way home from work, I had 2 places where I dropped calls. When I got the HTC Touch, I now have about 4 or 5 places where I lose calls. One additional place is sitting at my desk at work. Very frustrating!

This is most likely a network issue. I recommend going to your cellular provider and asking their staff to look at your network settings to ensure they match up to your location and network.

No signal

i have been having exactly the same problem lately, i know the providers have been having problems with the prepaid network as you couldnt even register a new sim card for a while there. A person from three told me they had problems with the sms side of things too. I am having network signal problems in strong network areas, also calls dropping. I believe it is whatever they are doing to upgrade fiving grief. THey just say update software, thats it
