goto printer control panel - menu - language options. you can do it from there.

Yes I understand that, I think your proilem maybe that there is dirt/ ink on the slide bars. ( Sublimation ink ias notorious for imparting a residue)

So take a cloth and clean those metal rods that the cartridges slide along. They should reveal a lot of dirt on the rag. Then use some wd 40 or light sewing machine oil on another rag and wipe on wipe off. They only need a very slight amount.

seems to me that you would have to uninstall the printer from your computer, from start -> control panel -> add or remove programs, remove all programs related to the epson.

If that does not solve the problem please contact Epson customer support about it or talk to your dealer if this is a brand new printer and it came in german.

Yup that's Epson for you. I had the same. bought the black one but to get it to work you must have ALL the ink cartridges full. no way around it.

Are you sure there is space for 5 cartridges? You are using T0711-714 right?

My guess is that you have a language specific version of the driver that does not contain the English language files.

I suggest getting the latest driver version from Epson and then uninstall the old version before installing the newest.

If this still doesn't work, contact Epson...

Give us a clue! What OS are you using and what language do you need. If you want an XP driver in Dutch, English, french, German, Italian, Portugese or Spanish or Mac OSX Driver in English I can help.

can you help change the lanuage settings on my epson stylus dx7450.its in gemanand i want to change back to english.

i have the epson stylus cx3200 and the main printer options are in english (ie number of copies ect) but the rest are in french!
