F7 error Hi I have a Whirlpool ADG 8572 which has been doing wierd things for a few days. First, the start switch started flashing, then it would do part of a program and then start flashing, now it displays "F7" and the start button is flashin continuously (7 times, then stop, repeat). I have checked the filter, and it is empty, please can anyone let me know what this error might mean. Thanks

Raise your water supply temerature. Next open door and within 3 seconds hit hi-temp scrub, then energy saver. Do this again. Close door and latch, then push reset button.

What does the F7 code mean for my whirlpool dishwasher ADG6230

F7 or 7 times flashing
Flow meter failure

Symptom:
Water inlet valve (WV1) is switched on and the water indicator (WI) is on (level reached).

Reason:
  • Water tap closed during water inlet
  • Water inlet hose blocked
  • Water inlet valve (WV1) defective (mesure resistor ca 3,5 kOhm)
  • Flow meter (FM) sends too few / much pulses (less than 10 imp. in 10 seconds). Flow meter counts wrong (or the sump is full in less than 30 second).

Causation: Hose felt down and slipped the disc of the valve. The effect is a displacment of the valve tapped.
  • Aquastop defective
  • Flow meter (FM) defective

Adg 3962 IX showing fault code f2 with flashing

The machine has a switch inside that activates when a set amount of water is loaded.
If this switch then breaks (switches off) during the wash the machine assumes that the water has leaked out.
Run it through a couple of washes, check for a leak and see how it goes.
Hopefully it will be fine.
F2 indicates a flooded base.

Press and hold the start button until the start light goes out. (This resets the appliance)
Select a new programme and try the machine again.

If it comes up with a fault F2, take the panel off below the door and check for water in the base.
Be careful when you take the panel off, the exposed edges are razor sharp.
Drain any water in the base, reset and try the machine again and watch for a leak through the inspection panel.

Whirlpool Dishwasher machine (Mod. ADG 8970/1) wont start. Water is taken in. After several attempts to start an error code "F4" appeared.

Hello Sir,
This error code, " F4 " comes only when the waste outlet is totally clogged with waste and blocked. Try to dismantle the machine and locate the Waste outlet pipe and thoroughly clean it. This will reset the error which is caused.

Thank you Sir,
Have a nice day.

Sounds like something is becoming intermittent, but after the system warms up, the connection "holds." These are difficult to troubleshoot until the unit actually stops working. If the unit is in warranty or you have a service contract, it's definitely worth a call to your service center and schedule a home visit.
