The ten-key keypad is used for the calculator too. The button to swith between these modes is just aboc=ve the key and has a picture of a calculator. To use directional arrow keys, this keyboard comes with it's own separate arrow keys located under the delete button. They felt no need for directional function, number input function, and calculator function.
Do you mean the symbols don't work - % and ^ above 5 & 6? or is it that only 5 & 6 work and rest do not work in the upper row? Try to plug another keyboard to isolate the problem to be a keyboard problem. If with the second keyboard also, you face the same issue, it is driver's of your keyboard which you can try updating. Also check if your keyboard software is mapped properly to the keyboard type you are using.
if these keys works fine on other software then that means there is nothing wrong with your keyboard.
if this happens only in Corel draw then you should check software shortcuts under preferences in edit menu!
i hope it helps!
This is either the Num Lock or the Scroll Lock. To turn off the Num Lock, look at the top left of your number pad on the right side of the keyboard, and press the Num Lock key. To turn off the Scroll Lock, press that key in the middle of the top row of 3 keys above your arrow keys.
Microsoft's keyboards are notoriously susceptible to this -- it seems like sneezing on them will damage them. I went through several of these keyboards, even attempting careful repair, before hanging it up. Not good news, I'm afraid -- I suggest Logitech products which my students can't even break.
I had the same the problem. The cause was a corrupted encryption code. That is why only worked the keys that don't require encryption. 1) Install the Logitech software and restart. 2) The software will tell you to press CTRL-ALT-F12. This procedure resets the keyboard encryption and tells you to enter a new code. 3) If you already had the software installed simply press CTRL-ALT-F12 and follow the above procedure.
