SOURCE: My Kenmore 90 series dryer won't heat

The thermal fuse is going to be located on the heating element housing. When you take off the front panel you will see your lint screen housing. You will need to remove that to get to the element housing. Once that's out of the way the thermal fuse should be right on top of the housing. It is small and has two small wires coming off of it. The wires should be different colors. Just don't get it mixed up with the thermostat. Just match it up with the new one that you have. It is held in place with two small screws. Let me know if you have any other questions or still can't find it, also let me know if this was helpful. Good luck and glad to help out.

One of two ways depending on oh made this unit GE or WPL FIRST look at the top of the door opening for two screws if there is no screws get a flat head screw drive and look with a flash light between the top and front pane you should see a clip about 2 inches from the sides going tworge the middle use a flat screwdriver place in the crack between the top and front panel and hit the back of the screwdriver with you hand should push the clip back an the top pop up do the same onthe other side (before you start if you lent filter goes in the top of the dryer remove the two screws holding that down to remove the front in the side panel going into the front is a screw on both side remove then lift the front up too unclip the bottom clips good luck.

Kenmore 70 series electric dryer won't start

There is a thermal fuse (start fuse) located in the back of the machine. Remove the screws from the back panel all the way around. UNPLUG DRYER FIRST, if you look towards the bottom on the left side you should see a little white fuse about 2" long you can ohm this out to see if it's good (remove both wires before you put your meter on it. 99% of the time thats the only problem. If you do not have a meter you can remove the fuse with a 1/4" nut driver and take it to your local appliance parts store and they can check it or just replace it as they are a very inexspensive part. This should take care of the start problem. Good Luck!

Kenmore dryer 70 series

Check the vent for clogs and kinks. Could be something in the blower wheel causing the noise and blocking the vent.
Remove the vent from the back of the dryer, unplug the dryer, and reach inside the dryer vent to check for items lodged in the blower housing.

My dryer stoped working it is a Kenmore 70 series model #110.66712694 What do i check first

if you mean wont start do this : unplug dryer, remove back panel, look for a white part with2 connectors on the blower housing and remove one, using a continuity or ohmmeter put across the leads and if you hear no sound or see no reading in meterreplace that part. is the thermal fuse. this is the most common problem forthat failure.

Kenmore 70 series electric dryer not coming on

next time send the model number,if it's not starting unplug the dryer,on top of the blower wheel housing there will be a thermal fuse,if the filter is on top it's behind the back panel of the dryer,if the filter is inside it's in the front of the dryer,it will be near the duct that the lint filter slides into, you need to remove at least one of the wires before you read it out with a meter,it will be a 3392519 or a 3390719,these are the two most used thermal fuses.let me know what you find,if it is the fuse most likely you need to clean out the dryer.blow out the vent line i use a leaf blower if it's long, clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into and vac out the inside of dryer where the motor is

check the thermal fuse if it is blown also change the high limit thermal cut-off fuse www.repairclinic.com shows your parts. go there and enter model number. Also check the heat element. to get into it remove the lint filter and the two screws you'll see there then pry the top up at the front corners. And through the back you should find the heat element and blower housing and thermal fuse and high limit fuse and cycling thermostat.

The kenmore series 70 dryer stopped running aand i can't get it

Unplug the dryer.
Remove the rear panel and check the thermal fuse attached to the left side exhaust vent. The fuse is 1 and 1/2 inches long by 1/2 inch wide and white in color.
No continuity on a volt meter is a bad fuse. Replace it.
