Question about HP Compaq Presario F730US Notebook
I have a Compaq Prasario F730US and the 1-year warranty just expired.
I can power it on and the nothing show on the LCD, I hear the DVD drive spinning for few minutes then the light on the power button turn off like 1/60 second. It keeps doing this repeat and repeats again. I suspect the video chip or the MB has a problem. I reseat the memory chip, hard disk and the battery, same problem. I remove the memory chip, hard disk and the battery, and boot it up with the A/C adapter, same problem. I connect the external LCD thru the VGA, nothing show. Any suggestion will be appreciated. I don’t want to spend a lot of money to fix it since I only pay $400 for this brand last year. I can get another one about the same price with a better configuration.
