Follow the link above. You will find a link to a dealer in your area that will have the proper parts for your toilet. Often these toilets have brand spacific parts for them. The poblem with places like Lowes, in regards to their employees is that they are not trained to know the details about repair. Most of these people have never been in the industry in which they are selling products for. Also, most homeowners arent concerned about how they are going to repair this product at the moment, just how it looks at the time of purchase plus most homeowners don't repair their own, they hire it done. Hope this helps.

first need to buy the longer oval seat so it sits correctly at the front most mounting screws are universal-- go buy thin rubber washers and trim and place between the hinge and bowl than tighten down this will stop slippage but the front if not correctly sitting on the bowl will still cause problems

Try checking plumbing supply houses instead of home improvement stores. Im not sure where you are located. Here in MO. I use Harry Cooper Supply or Riback Supply or Southern Materials. A good supply house should be able to help you find what you are looking for. Hope this helps.

Is there a good flow from the small feeder tube going into the center tube the flapper mounts to? It is possible your flush assembly has mineral deposits, rust, calcium, etc. build up and is not allowing sufficient flow through that tube to rinse the sides of the bowl. You could also Try dumping undiluted C L R (calcium, lime, rust) cleaner into that tube and allowing it to clear the passages. If the passages are blocked you will notice the water flooding back out of that central tube in the tank and may be able to use a small inspection mirror and a piece of baling wire to clear the exit ports around the rim of the bowl. You may also be able to clean the entire flush assembly by removing the water line from the bottom of the tank then removing the flush assembly and soaking it in C L R for a half hour - or, just replace the entire assembly. I hope this helps!!
