Http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;247602 this is worth looking at.

a faster fix is:
Uninstall Microsoft works, then go under my computer and search for any other microsoft works folder from before the crash including any other program that came with it ( i.e. microsoft money ect..).
Those old files are interferring with the new files, so deleting them forces works to create new files.

then look for these files:

Then move those files to a different location

(e.g. my doc's),don't just copy them, move them

(drag and drop), or rename them, or delete them,

you should then have no more problems with genuine

I have a product key fro windows home student 2007 what i got a while back wen i put it in it lets mje then wen i follow the instructions and phone it says something about piracy?? can you help please

Try this:
Go to Start-then-Computer - then double click on C Drive - then double click on Windows - then double click on system 32 -
then fin these files:
OGAAddin.dll
OGACheckControl.dll
OGAEXEC
once you locate these files first try renaming them. If that doesn't work try moving them (should work), if that doesn't work then delete them. Your copy of MSOffice should then be fine. Just do not accept any updates for MSOffice or any Genuine Advantage updates.
Hope it helps. If it does be sure and give me a good review.
Thanks

Hello! I'm Olivier in Congo DRC.My problem is that when I try to start office it asks me a productkey.I have tryed whith some productkey but It does'nt accept.Could you help me please!(Microsoft office and...

1. If you have trail version installed in your computer then you have to remove it first and than try to enter the product key.
2. If this doesn’t work, then rename these two files opa12.dat and opa12.bak. These two files are located in C:\\Programdata\Microsoft\Office\Data. If you don't find these tow files then can search it also.
3. After renaming these files. Go to Registry Editor (type regedit in the RUN box). Follow the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\OFFICE\12.0
and delete the folder {.......}. After this open any office application and it will prompt you to enter the product key once again, so enter it and see what happens.
4. If this doesn’t work then call Microsoft support agent to generate a new product key.

Microsoft word 2000 is not responding

Use the Search Option, selecting all files (search hidden as well), to locate the file named Normal.dot. Once found delete or rename the file Normal.OLD. This is the template that Word uses for all documents. It not uncommon for this file to become corrupted and cause problems.

After finding this file in your computer, rename it to something else like Normal.Old or delete it completely and then retry opening word. Word should automatically recreate the Normal.dot template for you. If it works properly after renaming the template file, you can delete the old one since a new one will have already been created.

Normal.dot may be hidden so you may have to go into your Window Explorer options and change them to show hidden files and folders before doing your search

To enable viewing of hidden folders:
MY COMPUTER --> TOOLS --> FOLDER OPTIONS --> VIEW --> SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS)

Hope this information has been helpful.

Try renaming the install directory. Normal install is located C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12. Rename office12 to office12bak (just in case you need to put it back again). This will normally allow you to reinstall office again.

Contact manager pro

CLEAN INSTALL needed here.
Try uninstalling, after the uninstall, shut down completely for at least 30 seconds, and then restart.
Then do a search for 'all files and folders' - search for both Cosmi and then Contact Manager, with the options "Search system folders", "Search hidden files and folders" and "Search subfolders" checked. Delete all of those files found.
You should do this search and delete whenever you uninstall any programs. It will remove lots and lots of leftover junk files and corrupted files taking up room on your hard drive. It will also give you a "clean install" when you reinstall or install an updated program. (Do this ESPECIALLY when updating to a NEW anti-virus programs and “Internet Security Suite” programs such as McAfee or Norton etc.)
BEFORE RE-INSTALLING Contact Manager
Download and install "Registry Mechanic" then do the updates prior to running it and removing anything for the first time. This will get rid of all your current Registry errors, prior to installing or reinstalling.

MS word won't pull up

CLEAN INSTALL needed here.
This is a nice little FREE utility you can try. Install Microsoft "Windows Installer CleanUp Utility"  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/en-us
If you find (PROGRAM NAME) listed just hit the delete button.
Then do the normal uninstall.
Try un-installing again, but this time after the un-install, shut down completely for at least 30 seconds, and then restart.
Then do a search for 'all files and folders' - search for both Office and then  Word, with the options "Search system folders", "Search hidden files and folders" and "Search subfolders" checked. Delete all of those files found.
You should do this search and delete whenever you un-install any programs.
BEFORE RE-INSTALLING Office or MS Word
Download and install "Registry Mechanic" then do the updates prior to running it and removing anything for the first time. This will get rid of all your current Registry errors, prior to installing or reinstalling.

MSVCR80.dll

Many people have found that when you update to 2007 the msoxmlmf.dll file is moved from c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\office 11\msoxmlmf.dll to c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\office 12\msoxmlmf.dll. When I moved it back to office 11 location everything worked fine. BTW, I had the same error. Good luck Richard
