After syphoning water out of drum, remove and clean filter located at bottom front left of washer, if there is a screw in the filter cover, unscrew this first.
Remove filter by unscrewing anti-clockwise.

My Hoover Performa 1100 does not drain the water therefore it does not open. Can anyone help please?
