Question about Canon Rebel XT / EOS 350D Digital Camera
Reset camera to factory settings
When a problem arises on your Canon 350d, Canon tech support will advise you to first reset your camera...set the mode to P and then go to menu, setup tools 2, clear settings..
the second option is to update your firmware by visiting the canon website, you can access this by going to google and searching for 350d firmware...
the third option will be to send your camera for service in Borehamwood UK...
hope this helps.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

In order to reset the camera settings to its default values you need to do the following:
-Press the MENU button
-Use the left or right arrow keys to select the Settings menu (its icon looks like a wrench and hammer)
-Use the up or down arrow keys to scroll to the choice that says "Reset ALL..."
-Press the "Func./Set" button to confirm your choice.
This will reset the camera to its factory default settings.
