You will have to open up your network connections click start type cmd press enter you will be in DOS mode type in ipconfig press enter you will see all o fyour internet connection details type in your default gateway adress into your internet search should read something like 10.0.0.138 Make sure you Ethernet/internet is enabled in bios restart your computer during the boot up process you will see on your screen a certain key to press to enter set up (BIOS) press and hold that key to enter bios using arrow keys navigate to integrated peripherals look for SiS On Chip Pci Device press enter scroll to SiS 10/100m press enter make sure its enabledimake sure its enabledPci device arrows key scroll to nstalled.
click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark ! ? you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled
If you are trying to connect through a modem/router you it should have come with a disk then
you might have to connect the usb lead to your modem to get a connection then
click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to network adapters should see a yellow question ? exclamation mark ! or a red X right click install drivers
the driver might be on the disc supplied by your ISP internet service provider
or the motherboard disc
hope this helps

You ned to locate the driver from your start-program-run & then write the file name. IF the file found by computer notice that the file is on the drive which the O/S installed. If computer are not able to find it try to upgrate your O/S. Be sure that your O/s is support the driver.

You have to install the correct Vista driver for the 'type' of card you are using. It could be an Intel, Atheros, Realtek etc
Have a look here:

You could download Belarc Advisor, which will tell you a lot about your computer and the hardware that it is using, including your wireless card type. Download and install the appropriate driver from that site and install it and reboot.
Hope this helps:)

Willem, download the drivers again. WHEN the download is finished in the small download window, DO NOT close the window! DOUBLE-click right on the file name, and follow the INSTALLATION instructions. You haven't -> Installed <- the drivers yet.
Where did you download the wireless driver from? I don't see the Satellite Pro C660-1N9 listed on Toshiba eSupport
First of all, I lost my hard drive of my laptop. Toshiba Satelite Pro C660-1N9. Part No: PSC1ME-004004F3. This laptop isnt from Canada. I bought the laptop in January 2012 in South Africa, just before we came over to Canada. I downloaded all the drivers from the Toshiba website. All the drivers installed eccept for the wireless drivers. I press install, it opens the driver and the install window dissapears and never pops up again.
I still do not see it Willam; 1)http://za.computers.toshiba-europe.com/i... 2)http://www.support.toshiba.ca/support/is... Toshiba South Africa Support lists Satellite Pro C660-1N0; I see no 1N9. Can you paste the URL in a Comment? If you can find it again, download it again, and DOUBLE-click on it. I wish to perform this differently than using the Install method.
Sorry, apparently learning to spell, Willem
