The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

SOURCE: need to know how to transfer pics back to camera

From your computer "to" the camera? This seems backwards but you would pop the SD card out and put it in a card reader (your USB cable might work too) and copy the files using My Computer. the camera will appear in My Comuter as a drive letter.

SOURCE: Problem for Kodak EasyShare One Digital Camera

check device manager to check if the camera is detected properly when connected via USB, try deleting the camera device then reconnect the camera and the drivers should re-install. hopefully you should then be able to transfer images from the camera.

if this fails try using a memory card reader instead of transferring directly from the camera.

How to clean lens on easyshare camera c1550 5x 16 megapixel digital camera?

the first thing you do to clean a lens is to hit it with a few blasts of air .this will remove any little grits that might scratch the lens when cleaning you do not want to be rubbing the grits or what ever is on your lens into the glass. Next would be to have some lens tissue and lens cleaner . Never put the lens cleaner directly on the lens wad up the lens tissue and just put a drop or two on the tissue and then go over the lens lightly in a circular motion then over itvwith a dry tissue that's it

Easyshare C1550 will only record a few seconds of audio

Sounds like it does not have enough memory to record. Transfer the files off the memory card, or get a bigger card and the higher speed class (ten) is preferable, as some of the cheaper memory cards are too slow to handle live digital recording.

My easyshare C1550 lens is stuck open and the screen says Lens obstructed

Hi,

Try removing the battery then put it back and turn it on. If it still wont close, place the camera facing the ground and gently tap it repeatedly. There might be a debris stuck in the mechanism.
