Question about Aiwa HS-TX525 Personal Cassette Player
I have just bought this cassette player off Ebay, it came with it's original box and looks in good condition.
When I put a tape in to play it keeps going up and down in speed, like the batteries are running out but I have just put new ones in.
Any ideas out there? Also when I adjust the volume its very crackly.
P.S. It's the TX 457 model

Check with a small torch, to ensure that there is no tape broken arround the pinch roller or head, if there was no tape broken away, between the pinch roller and the cassette head there is a white cassette bar, this may have become bent.
