Question about Vizio E370VA 37 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV
I have my picture setting on custom and I can't adjust all the settings. All I can adjust is backlight, brightness, contrast, and color temperature. I have the ambient light sensor off (I've tried turning it on which didn't help the situation). It just skips over all of the other settings. I've tried resetting the picture to factory defaults, I've also tried resetting the whole TV via the help option on the menu and nothing has worked. I'm not a novice when it comes to stuff like this but I cannot figure this out at all.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Vizio with terrible color
YES. Take it back. Also take your DVD and cables also. Have the store try the tv with their DVD and cables and see if you get the same problems. It it good, then try your cables. Or try your DVD with their cable. It's under warranty now so resolved it now. If you bought by credit card, that may have a brief warranty also.

SOURCE: Vizio LCD Green Pixels
Our Vizio started doing the same thing after only three weeks, except it was also showing green pixel when we watched DVDs. After checking this site and others and trying all the "tweaking" advised, I finally called Vizio's customer support. They were extremely polite and tried to help over the phone, but had to send someone to the house to make the repair (anything 40 inches or larger earns a house call). The tech arrived on time and was extremely professional and pleasant -- he had to replace the daughter board and LVDS cables. So far, so good.

Often manufactures will tie backlight adjustment in with the brightness, You might want to changed the brightness to your desired luminosity and then correct the picture with contrast to your liking.

SOURCE: Menu button stopped responding
If only one button does not work at all or all do not work the unit may have a lock out feature that would be explained in the owners manual.
